Hooman Abedan is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with more than 25 years of professional experience in engineering, construction, building systems and consulting.
Throughout his career, Hooman has worked on a wide range of residential, commercial, mission-critical, institutional, healthcare and industrial projects, providing engineering expertise, technical consultation and project support. His extensive experience allows him to understand projects from both an engineering and a practical construction perspective.
His areas of expertise include mechanical engineering, building systems, construction consulting, building permit support, project coordination and technical review. He works closely with property owners, developers, contractors, designers and other professionals to help ensure that projects meet applicable technical and building requirements.
With a strong combination of engineering knowledge, industry experience and practical problem-solving, Hooman provides clients with clear and reliable guidance throughout the project process, from initial planning and design coordination through permitting and construction.

Sogol Abbasi
Co-Founder · Design Consultant
Sogol Abbasi is a Co-Founder of Home Fresh Air and an experienced design and project consultant with more than 10 years of experience in architectural design, interior design, construction documentation and project coordination.
With a background in Environmental Design from OCAD University (BSc), Sogol combines creative design thinking with technical knowledge and practical construction experience to develop functional, refined and project-specific solutions for residential and commercial spaces.
As a key member of Home Fresh Air, Sogol is actively involved in the design and development of projects, working from the early concept and space-planning stages through design development, visualization and construction documentation. She works closely with clients, engineers, contractors and other professionals to coordinate design requirements and help bring projects from concept to completion.
Her experience includes residential renovations, custom interiors, commercial spaces, retail environments, business locations and development projects. She has particular expertise in creating design concepts, developing layouts, preparing detailed drawings and producing 3D visualizations that help clients clearly understand their projects before construction begins.
Sogol works with industry-standard design and visualization software, including AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhino and Lumion, allowing her to combine strong visual communication with detailed technical documentation.
Her design philosophy is centred on creating spaces that are functional, visually distinctive, technically thoughtful and aligned with each client’s vision and project goals.
